What does the Daily Session Line indicator do?⌄
It draws a full-height vertical line automatically at midnight New York time, marking the start of each new trading day, so you never have to hunt for the day boundary by eye.
How do I set up the Daily Session Line correctly in TradingView?⌄
Paste the provided Pine Script into a new indicator and add it to your chart — that's all. It reads New York time directly, so it works on any instrument (futures, forex, crypto) and any chart timezone.
Do I need to change any settings when daylight saving time changes?⌄
No. The script reads America/New_York time, which already includes daylight saving, so the line stays at midnight New York all year without touching any setting.
