A quick look at what you're installing and what it needs to work.
What to expect
- A floating Sentinel widget that stays within reach while you trade, on top of any other program.
- The same journal, sessions and data as the website — everything stays in sync with your account.
- Optional voice activation ("wake word") — call Sentinel hands-free once you turn it on in settings.
- Updates are handled from inside the app — no manually re-downloading new versions.
How to use it
- Just talk or type naturally — there's nothing to learn. Tell Sentinel what's happening like you would a real mentor.
- Speaking is transcribed automatically — say what happened out loud, you never have to type it yourself.
- Sentinel journals for you, on its own — most real trades, setups and lessons get saved automatically, you never have to ask it to "save this".
- Turn on the wake word in settings to call Sentinel completely hands-free, without touching the keyboard.
What it needs
- Windows 10 or 11 (64-bit).
- Your existing MyEdge account — you log in the same way as on the website.
- An active Sentinel subscription (or trial) for the Advisor chat — the rest of the app works without one.
- An internet connection — the app wraps the website, it doesn't work offline.
One thing you'll seeWindows will show a blue "Windows protected your PC" warning the first time you run the installer — expected for a new app that hasn't built up Windows' trust yet, not a sign anything's wrong. Click "More info", then "Run anyway" to continue.
